Vaughan Williams

Vaughan Williams was a PTUA Committee member from 1998 until 2005, and rejoined the Committee in 2007. During that time he held various positions, including serving a number of years as Secretary. Vaughan was a frequent media commentator on public transport issues and represented the PTUA on a number of government committees. He was also one of the principal lobbyists for the establishment of the Public Transport Ombudsman.

Vaughan is a lawyer by profession and currently works for an industry ombudsman scheme. As well as acting as a corporate memory bank, he brings to the committee substantial experience in consumer advocacy, and contributes
to strategic planning and campaigns when he can.
