Daniel Bowen has been a member of the PTUA since the late-1980s. He joined the committee and became newsletter editor in 2001, and was President from 2003 to 2012. He commutes daily to the city on the Frankston line, and is a regular commentator on transport issues.
Daniel has a background in Information Technology, and a keen interest in seeing public transport improve for the benefit of all Melburnians. He is hopeful that one day he won’t need his car at all anymore to get around, and will no longer have to check timetables to avoid long waits between services. Until then, he tries to make sure he has a good book to read.
