The State Government has appointed Sir Rod Eddington to conduct an inquiry into the need for an additional east-west transport link across Melbourne. Previous suggestions which have received media attention have included a tunnel from the end of the Eastern Freeway under the cemetery and Royal Park to the Tullamarine Freeway or the Deer Park bypass.
This page is designed to assist community groups, members of the public and other stakeholders to make evidence-based submissions to the inquiry.
If you have come across any other useful information in the public domain and think others may benefit from including it in their submissions, please email a link to eastwest@ptua.org.au for inclusion on this resource page.
