Metlink and Yarra Trams have issued a new tram map. Unlike some older versions, this one actually allows you to see where all the trams go and how they connect.
Unfortunately the map has quite a number of minor errors in it. In this excerpt from the St Kilda area, errors include:
Windsor Station is on Chapel Street, not on Dandenong Road as the map shows.
Tram 112 terminates at Fitzroy Street, not at Luna Park as shown.
Tram 78 terminates at Brighton Road, not Glenhuntly Road, and not near Elsternwick Station as shown.
Prahran Station is near High Street, but not on it as shown.
Balaclava Station is near Chapel Street, but not on it as shown.
(We spotted a number of other errors, and passed them on to Metlink. If you spot more on the map, then let us know and we’ll pass them on.)
